Chiropractor Nathan and teacher Tyla tied the knot after seven and a half years together. They searched Instagram to find some of the most talented wedding vendors. This was Ava Me’s very first wedding of 2024. They merged this with an amazing waterside venue in Pasadena, Sydney, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Read on as Tyla explains.
ENGAGEMENT: “Nathan planned a secret trip to Mudgee. We went “glamping” in a beautiful villa surrounded by trees and wildlife.”
FAVOURITE DETAIL: “Instead of favours, we donated to Dementia Australia. Nathan’s grandmother, who has now passed away, suffered with Dementia for years. This was really hard for the family and we wanted to help others going through the same thing.”
FAVOURITE MEMORY: “We were told by many people that the wedding will go so quickly and to stay together when going around and talking to our guests. We did this and tried not to get split up during the night. This made sure that we witnessed everything together and have the same beautiful memories of our day.”
ADVICE FOR BRIDES-TO-BE: “Make sure you ask questions if you are not sure of something. If you need help, ask!! Try to do a little bit of planning at a time, so that you don’t feel stressed and keep the planning process fun! The planning is part of the wedding as the day comes and goes, so really enjoy it!”
