Rebecca & Andrew – Return to Enzo Hunter Valley

There’s no denying it, Rebecca’s jaw dropping dress (that humongous train πŸ‘€) coupled with her flight suit stole this show. And what an amazing show it was, a return to the old days, with a full house at Enzo Hunter Valley being witness to not one but four helicopter arrivals, plus a plethora of DIY and personalised touches. “We really hoped to create a space where friends and family came to celebrate and enjoy the evening just as much as we did!”, they relate.

Despite Andrew playing the role of groomzilla to keep everyone following The Schedule, it was hard to govern the amount of fun they were having, and quickly enough everyone was flying by the seat of their pants. Nothing was grounding these two from soaring!

The Venue

“We loved that Enzo’s was an all in one venue. We love that it was easy for us and our guests, and that we could have a relaxed day to celebrate with everyone. Oh, and have you met Mel? She is absolutely incredible and was the main reason we chose Enzo’s. Her vibrant energy, can do attitude and positivity was a perfect match to us!”

Favourite Detail

“Our favourite detail was the helicopter landings. None of our guests knew (not even our bridal party) that we were going to land 4 helicopters as our grand entrance. The guest’s reactions were worth it! Such an incredible view from above to see everyone shocked to see us as we landed!”

DIY

“Many, many DIY projects! We restored a triple bifold door, sanded and painted it to create a seating chart, found many pieces on Facebook Marketplace and restored or painted them (like our wishing well). We made many custom signs using a Cricut machine (such as our welcome mirror, and page boy signs), custom guest menus, and our own programme for the ceremony.”

The Dress

“The dress was from Sposa Group in Leichhardt, NSW. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was the one. I had heard of people saying this before (and to be honest, I never believed them), but knew once it was on that it was the perfect dress. This was my 3rd or 4th dress shop.”

Running Theme

“The running theme of the day was all about ‘The Schedule’ – the minute by minute plan on what to do and when. Funnily enough, the schedule was rendered pretty useless once we fell behind time by about 3pm! From there, everyone’s running joke was ‘So how are we on the Schedule?’”
