From a beautiful vista overlooking Canberra to a brilliantly styled wedding reception at Canberra’s Southern Cross Club
PROPOSAL: "Mathew proposed in Bali on our holiday, he had arranged for rose petals to be placed in our private villa to spell the words “will you marry me” inside a love heart. The team in Bali transformed our private villa to make this evening very special for us. It also included a romantic candlelit 3 course dinner."
FAVOURITE DETAIL: "We loved how our reception room was styled thanks to a touch of elegance but we did love how relaxed and chilled the morning of our wedding was especially for the girls during the getting ready period"
FAVOURITE MOMENT: "My favourite memory was that feeling just before walking down the aisle! For Mathew, he said it was all fun and can’t think of a specific moment!"
GLAD WE DID: "We are so glad we had dance lessons for our first dance! We are [also] glad we added videography to our package (cannot wait to see our video + photos) and that we spent a little more money on the styling of our reception including the smoke machine and fire works just to add that little bit of spark."
DIY PROJECTS: "Yes we made the wedding favours - I designed the label and printed these. I ordered the bottles from a website and we filled each bottle, labeled each bottle and tied a ribbon around each bottle. Mathew’s Nonna and nonno in Sydney actually made all of the limoncello for us!!! - we just had to decant the litres of Limoncello into the smaller bottles. "
