These two incredible legends first met on a serendipitous tropical cruise almost 6 years ago. The fireworks from that chance encounter, ignited a six month whirlwind courtship that would involve quite a few interstate flights 😂, before Brock was finally able to convince Tia to settle down in the true blue state of NSW. Despite a venue change and having to bring forward their wedding day by almost a year, they found the perfect spot to host their beautiful & intimate affair, the jaw dropping rural property of Calley View Farm on the NSW South Coast. THE LOCATION
“We have originally planned to have our wedding a year later in a completely different location but stubbled across this venue on Airbnb and fell in love. For various reasons we moved our wedding early to September 2022 and it was absolutely perfect. We wanted a vibe of simplicity, calm and warm, which I think we achieved”.
THE DRESS
“I originally bought a dress from a different place but had a change of heart 3 months before the wedding. I found the perfect dress from Brides In Love in Sydney and the experience was fantastic!”
FAVOURITE BIT OF THE DAY
“Our favourite part of the day was the bagpipes. I organised this as a surprise for Brock and his Gran who is originally from Scotland and hasn’t seen live bagpipes for 25 years. It was the most emotional and touching part of the day.”
YOUR WEDDING ADVICE
“Leading up to the wedding everything will seem like it’s going wrong, and your plan won’t be going to plan, but on the day, no matter what goes to plan or doesn’t go to plan, it will be perfect because it’s YOUR day.”
